Description:

Micron Technology is hiring a Test Automation Engineer for its IT QA Center of Excellence (CoE) team in Hyderabad. In this position, you will design, build, and maintain highly scalable automated verification workflows to optimize enterprise-level ecosystems. The core responsibility balances configuring automated testing pipelines inside the UiPath Test Suite with validating critical business transactions across SAP S/4HANA modules (including SAP GUI and Fiori environments). You will build modular reusable components, map end-to-end testing scripts into automated DevOps branches, and run complex defect investigations to enforce strict corporate software governance standards.

Requirements:

• 1–5 years of professional hands-on testing experience focused on enterprise-level Test Automation.
• Strong advanced technical command over the entire UiPath Test Suite ecosystem, including hands-on script development inside Test Studio, process mapping within Test Manager, configuration across Orchestrator, and test execution using Test Cloud.
• Proven record developing and executing robust, non-brittle automation scripts across modern SAP S/4HANA modules, with specific troubleshooting depth managing SAP GUI layers and SAP Fiori mobile or web apps.
• Advanced proficiency in web-based application testing, utilizing specialized UiPath selectors, UI Automation activity blocks, and object repository frameworks to bypass execution stability constraints.
• Practical engineering understanding of Application Programming Interface (API) testing and automation principles across both REST and SOAP services.
• Direct experience integrating automated testing runs within automated build-and-release continuous integration pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Practical configuration familiarity tracking source code repositories and commits using Git, Git Desktop workflows, or Azure Repos.
• Strong foundational mastery over formal software QA methodologies, constructing automation test plans, compiling verification data matrices, and publishing clear execution/traceability metrics.
• Collaborative capability to work alongside technical developers and business owners, conduct requirement review sessions to define structural feasibility, and perform logical root-cause investigations.
